Local Authority Governor

Araminta Barlow is the Local Authority Governor for William Penn School. She qualified to teach English and Communications in the Post Compulsory sector. After a stint teaching English in a secondary school in Ethiopia, she then worked in university administration in London. She currently works in Children's Services for West Sussex County Council supporting the social workers working with child asylum seekers. She is a practising Catholic but has been involved in many ecumenical groups and attended a Baptist college for university. Her two children attended William Penn and she is committed to supporting the school retain its uniqueness and Quaker ethos.
